The [patch] view differs from the [rack] view in that:
-
The [patch] view shows all the connections between the modules. Each type of
connection has its own color:
modulation connections are shown green,
o
audio connections are shown red,
o
trigger connections are shown yellow.

It has more module positions available within the display (30, 4 of which are
normalized to VCA slots, regardless of whether the VCA is used).

Contrary to the [rack] view, the arrangement of modules are *not* grouped by type.
This gives you greater flexibility in positioning the modules to make things such as
control and audio routing a bit easier to visualize. As such, there are additional
controls in the patch view that are not available in the rack view, the [move] and
[view] controls, which will be described below.

In the [patch] view, the modules have no visible controls; you have to open the
module to see its state.
8.4.3

Editing Functions

The following section details the various functions also available within both views, which are
positioned along the row of buttons at the top of the LCD screen.
8.4.3.1

[Add]

This control allows you to select a module to instantiate within a program. When you activate the
left most button along the top of the LCD screen, a drop down menu appears that allows you to
