CONTROLLER DIAGNOSTIC TOOL (CDT)

FAULT RECOVERY

When a fault is detected by the controller, the controller will attempt to recover from the fault and resume normal
operation. In the case of an intermittent problem, such as a loose wiring connection, the controller may be able to
recover and operate normally for a while, but the problem should be repaired before placing the vehicle in service.
Depending on the type of fault, the controller will attempt to recover either immediately after the condition clears or
after the accelerator pedal has been cycled (released and pressed again).
