Cyclic function test

The processes described in the chapter "Commissioning" in sections "Checking the voltage
monitoring relay -A11" and "Function test "Safe Torque Off"" must be repeated within a time
interval of six months. This satisfies the requirements for timely error detection.

Acceptance test and log

General
To verify the correct operation of the activated Safety Integrated functions (SI functions), the
machine manufacturer

Authorized persons
The test of each SI function must be performed by an authorized person. The authorized person
records and signs the test in the acceptance certificate.
Authorized in this sense refers to a person who has the necessary technical training and
knowledge of the safety functions and is authorized by the machine manufacturer to carry out
the test.
Documentation
To ensure clear documentation of commissioning, you must fill out the acceptance certificate
immediately (see section "Acceptance certificate (Page 63)") and store it in the machine's
logbook.
You must complete this report for each "Safe Torque Off" option of the plant/system.
Note
If you change the parameter of the SI functions, perform a new acceptance test. Enter the
acceptance test results in the acceptance certificate.
