11 Maintenance

11.1 Safety instructions

WARNING
Improper maintenance
Severe injuries and damage to property
Maintenance work may only be carried out by authorised,
trained personnel who are familiar with how to operate the
machine and are in strict observance of all safety instructions.

Serious injuries
Before maintenance work, switch off the machine and secure it
against being switched on again.
Switch off the machine at the main switch, disconnect the
power supply.
Work on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician.
Switch off the machine before starting maintenance work and ensure that it
cannot be switched on again.
Keep the work area orderly and clean. Components and tools that are loose
or not put in their correct place may cause accidents!
The working area must be adequately lit.
Ensure that there is sufficient space to work around the machine.
Whilst maintenance work is being carried out, put up a sign that states
"Machine under maintenance".
Whilst maintenance work is being carried out, secure the area around the
machine.
Following the maintenance work, reinstall the safety equipment and check
that they are functioning properly.
Repairs of damage and malfunctions caused by non-compliance with the
maintenance instructions and intervals are not covered by the warranty and
are subject to a charge.
