3.10 Foreseeable misuses

During operation:

Even if the safety measures are complied with, there are still certain associated
risks that must be considered when working on the machine:

Injuries when changing the tool: cutting injuries and crush risk
●
Injury when coming into contact with rotating parts
●
Injury from flying workpieces
●
Crushing by being caught between moving parts
●
Hearing damage caused by noise intensity
●
Risk of damage to health from dust
●
Whilst processing, sparks can be created

Carefully inspect workpieces for foreign matter (nails, screws) which
might impair processing.

Disregard operating instructions.
●
Operating the machine, even if the operation manual is not complete or is
not available in the language of the country it is being operated in.

Placing objects or tools on the work surface. Components and tools that are

Only use permitted (authorised) tools in the machine.

Using modified tools. Only use original manufacturer tools.

To adapt, remove and bridge the safety equipment.

Intentionally trigger protective devices.

Step on the machine.

Processing of overly large or heavy workpieces.
●
Processing very small workpieces without assistance. Keep accessories at
hand.

Processing of unsuitable materials such as steel.
●
Processing of workpieces that are not or only loosely fixed in place.
●
Operating the machine without using the appropriate safety equipment.
Check the correct functioning of the safety equipment regularly.

Operating the machine carelessly.
