Transport, packaging and storage
7.1
Safety instructions
NOTICE
Transport damage
The machine can be damaged or destroyed if it is subjected to
improper handling during transport.
−
Always move the machine with the utmost care and caution.
−
Avoid mechanical vibration.
−
Overseas transport: Machine must be tightly packed and pro-
tected from corrosion. Use desiccant.
WARNING
Falling parts
There is a risk of injury as a result of falling parts while trans-
porting, loading or unloading the machine.

Do not stop below suspended loads.
−
Never lift loads over a person.
−
Only use suitable lifting equipment that has a sufficient load-
carrying capacity.
−
Only attach lifting equipment to the attachment points pro-
vided. Never lift the machine by its protruding parts.
−
Keep the machine's centre of gravity in consideration (see
transport documentation).
−
Take measures to prevent the machine from slipping sideways.
−
Hoisting devices must be equipped with safety hooks.
−
It is not permitted to use torn or worn straps.
−
Straps must not be knotted.
−
Straps must not lie against sharp edges.
Transport of the machine only in accordance with the enclosed transport and
assembly instructions.
