ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
11.Inspect:
Oil level
Refer to "ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPEC-
TION".
Oil pressure
Refer to "OIL PRESSURE INSPECTION".
Oil leaks
Engine oil replacement (with oil filter)
1.Place the motorcycle on a level place.
2.Warm up the engine for several minutes,
then stop the engine. Then place a recep-
tacle under the drain plug.
3.Remove:
Drain plug
4.Drain:
Engine oil
5.Remove:
Screw (oil filter cover-lower)
NOTE:
The oil filter cover is secured by three
screws. The lower one should be removed
so that the filter cavity will drain.
6.Remove:
Oil filter cover 1
Oil filter 2
O-ring 3
