the slot on the housing.

When installing the armature, avoid dam-
age to the brush.
4.Install:
Yoke 1
O-ring 2
NOTE:
Align the match mark A and install.
5.Install:
Bracket 1
O-ring 2
6.Tighten:
Bolts
NOTE:
Align the match mark B and install.
Installation
1.Install:
Starter motor
NOTE:
Apply a thin coat of grease onto the O-ring.
Refer to "ENGINE ASSEMBLY" in CHAPTER
4.

5 Nm (0.5 m • kg, 3.6 ft • lb)
Bolt (starter motor):
10 Nm (1.0 m • kg, 7.2 ft • lb)
