BATTERY INSPECTION/FUSE INSPECTION
6.Inspect:
Battery terminal
Dirty terminal → Clean with wire brush.
Poor connection → Correct.
NOTE:
After cleaning the terminals, apply grease
lightly to the terminals.
7.Install:
Battery
8.Connect:
Battery leads
CAUTION:
Connect the positive lead first and then
connect the negative lead.
9.Install:
Side cover (right)
Bolt (side cover):
7 Nm (0.7 m • kg, 5.1 ft • lb)

FUSE INSPECTION
CAUTION:
Don't forget to turn off the main switch
when checking or replacing the fuse. Other-
wise, it may cause accidental short-circuit-
ing.
1.Remove:
Side cover (right)
Refer to "SEAT, FUEL TANK AND COV-
ERS".
