Refer to Section 4.1: OVERVIEW on page 4–1 for generic test instructions pertaining to the test equipment,
equipment grounding, required settings and settings changes, general instructions, entering and exiting test
mode, using communications, and PC software setup.
CAUTION: Contact A1 will chatter when the unit under test is near the threshold. Do not
allow this to continue! Remove the test current. A single contact closure is enough to deter-
mine that the unit picked up.
CAUTION: Before starting to test the LPS-O relay, download all the relay settings to your PC
using the LPSO-Link program
NOTE: Where appropriate, current levels are defined with two numbers as xx ( yy ); xx is the value to be
used for relays rated at 5 Amperes and ( yy ) is the value to be used for 1 Ampere rated relays.
