Painting the Speaker Grille

The removable speaker grille can be painted using spray paint. Ensure that the spray paint
adheres to both metal and plastic.
NOTE: Extron is not responsible for any alterations to the original paint.
To paint the grille:

NOTE: A minimum of 1 inch (25.4 mm) of steel cable must protrude from the top of
the cable lock.

Proceed to Completing the Ceiling Bracket Installation
the installation.
Remove the grille from the speaker using the
included grille hook.
Remove and set aside the cloth scrim from the
back side of the grille.
Peel off the Extron logo from the front of the grille.
Spray paint the front side of the grille.
NOTES:
• Apply an even coat across the entire
front surface.
Be sure not to clog the grille holes.
•
Wait for the paint to dry.
Reattach the cloth scrim that was removed in
step 2 to the back of the grille.
Reattach the Extron logo.
