ATTENTION:
Ordinary wire cutters may be damaged when attempting to cut through the
steel cable. You must use a suitable cable cutter to cut the steel cable.

Strip off the cable jacket from the cable at the strip points, E and F.
5. Position the cable locks so that the ends of the cable locks are at least 2 inches from
the strip point.
6. On the speaker end of the cable, form two loops with the two steel cables using the
cable locks. Make sure that at least 1 inch of steel cable protrudes from the cable lock
and that the end of the cable lock is at least 2 inches from the the top of the speaker
hook, then position the two loops through the hook.
7. Proceed to
installation from step 9.

Cutting Bulk Cable for the Optional Ceiling Bracket

Follow the steps below when cutting bulk PendantConnect-2 speaker cable for optional
ceiling bracket installation.
1. Measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the ceiling bracket (value A) (see
figure 24
2. Measure the distance from from the floor to the bottom of the speaker at the planned
hanging height (value B).
3. The total cable length needed, T, can be calculated, as follows:
T = A - B - 5.26 inches
4. Cut the cable using T as the cut length.
Do not use regular wire cutters to cut through the steel cable.
