Cutting Bulk Cable for Ceiling Bracket
ATTENTION:
Do not use regular wire cutters to cut through the steel cable.
Ordinary wire cutters may be damaged when attempting to cut through the
steel cable. You must use a suitable cable cutter to cut the steel cable.

Determine and mark the strip points, E and F, as shown in the above illustration where
E is 2 inches from the cut end and F is 10 inches from the cut end.

Strip off the cable jacket from the cable at the strip points, E and F.
7.
On the speaker end of the cable, form a loop with the steel cable using the cable lock.
Make sure that a least 1 inch of steel cable protrudes from the cable lock and that the
end of the cable lock is at least 2 inches from the the top of the speaker hook. Position
the two loops through the hook.
8.
Route the free end of the PendantConnect-2 cable through the ceiling bracket cover
with the magnetic side of the cover facing the ceiling bracket (see the illustration below).
9.
Route the free ends of the two steel support cables through the two ceiling bracket
cable locks (see figure 23)
is flush with the top of the grommet as shown in the illustration below (see the inset side
view
) . Inserting the steel cable through the bottom of the cable lock locks the cable

in place. Pressing the cable lock release unlocks the cable.
