PARALLEL MENU

About PARALLEL MENU

This menu is used to specify the default printer personality and interface settings for
jobs received via the parallel interface port. See "PARALLEL MENU," on p.7-28 for
details of the various settings.
Operation flow for PARALLEL MENU
Use the example procedure below to open the PARALLEL MENU and specify the
option you want to select.

PARALLEL MENU

To do this...
Take the printer off-line.
Open the menus.
Open the Parallel menu.
Choose an item.
Choose a setting.
Bring the printer back on-line.
Do this...
Press [Go].
Press [Menu].
Press [Menu] until <PARALLEL MENU>
appears in the display.
Press [Item] until you see the item in the
display.
Press [Value] or [Shift] and [Value] until you
see the setting you want, then press
[Enter].
Press [Go].
