Integrity of the fiscal memory (FM) placed within the ECR is
a crucial part of ECR functionality. The Euro-2500TX offers
means to check the state of your FM module.
Look up "FM integr.test" in the service mode menu or enter
code 970 and press OK E

There are three modes for integrity testing: two of them are
basic tests, the last is a composite one. You can test the integ-
rity of used FM, integrity of unused (clean) FM, and you can
test both those areas, covering the FM in entirety.

5.11.1 Testing used FM area

This integrity test covers all records that have been written
into FM.
Procedure:
Look up "USED FM area" in the FM integrity test menu or en-
ter code 1 and press OK E

Testing procedure:
1. The ECR starts checking all written records, sequentially.
2. After checking their integrity, ECR prints out a summary.

The unused (clean) space of FM dedicated to records is sub-
ject to this test.
Procedure:
Look up "CLEAR FM area" in the FM integrity test menu or en-
ter code 3 and press OK E

encies (misplaced records or errors).
2. A short summary is printed after the test ends.

5.11.3 Testing entire FM area
This test combines both test mentioned above and thus tests
the integrity of entire FM space for records.
Procedure:
Look up "WHOLE FM area" in the FM integrity test menu or
enter code 2 and press OK E

1. First, this test checks the written records.
2. Then the test moves to check the unused space.
