4.2 Separating the main PCB case

4.2 Separating the main PCB case
1) Open the top ECR cover.
2) Release the fixing screws that hold the main PCB case underneath the bottom ECR case as shown in the picture.
3) Disengage the main PCB case and disconnect the connectors.
4) Release the screws that hold the top and bottom of the main PCB case together. 4) Release the screws that hold the top and bottom of the main PCB case together.
5) Reverse these steps while reassembling.
Note 1: ECR disassembly shall be performed only when the ECR is turned off and the external power adapter is discon-
nected.
Note 2: Take care to put the proper screws into respective holes during reassembly. Misplaced screws could damage the
printer cover during tightening the screws. While you tighten the screws, take care not to rip off the screws' twine. As you
close the cover, ensure that all the parts and wiring is in its place so you won't damage it or cause malfunction by clamping
it in between the case and the cover.

4.3 Separating the top ECR cover
1) Open the top ECR cover.
2) Carefully separate the top ECR cover as shown in the figure 4.6.

push the entire cover to the left until the left handle escapes its holder. Then pull

away the whole cover.
