4.16 Connection of external printers
The communication parameters have to be set in the ECR service mode. More detailed description for the external printer
settings is in chapter 5.6.2.
Connection procedure:
1) Turn the ECR off and disconnect the external power adapter.
2) Plug the external printer into the external printer connector. Since the ECR has got two external printer connec-
tors, the correct port has to be specified in the ECR service mode: external printer 1 = port 3, external printer 2 =
port 4 (chapter 5.6.2).
3) Turn the ECR on.
