5.5 Setting the fiscal core (FC) flags
Look up "FC settings" in the service mode menu or enter the
code 920 and press O

Following chapters employ the below listed symbols:
D
- the flag can be changed only after the daily report;
GT
- the flag can be changed only if the GrandTotals
(GTs) are zero;
SF
- the flag is dependent on the other flags in its group,
the relevant flag numbers are listed after the sym-
bol (e. g. SF 1, 2, 3 – this flag is dependent on flags #1,
#2, and #3 in its group);
DATE - relevant only for the date flag – formal check is re-
quired prior to change;
TIME - relevant only for the time flag – formal check is re-
quired prior to change;
HW
- ECR has to be hardware manipulated prior to chang-
ing the flag if the legislation requires;
JMP
- the flag cannot be changed – ECR sets it according
to the jumpers;
AUTO - the flag cannot be changed it is automatically de-
tected;
N
- the flag cannot be changed in specified national
version.
Moreover, at REG, CUR, TAX, and UN the ECR is checked
whether its fiscal memory (FM) is not set read-only.

Note: It is recommended to perform the annual report prior
to changing the flag #11 (currency abbreviation) in order to
avoid the mixing of individual master currencies.
The changes made to the taxes are commited after the final
confirmation, when the serviceperson leaves menu 920/4.

Select 'Yes' to save changes, 'No' discards any changes.
