4.14 Connection for external drawers and keyboard
Conditions for an external drawer to be safely connected to the Euro-2500TX ECR:
a) solenoid driven opening mechanism, no other electronics or interface
b) solenoid at maximum 24 V at maximum current 1 A
c) solenoid resistance minimum 24 Ω
Note 1: Drawers with current input up to 1 A are recommended.
Note 2: To avoid any problems, it is recommended to use only the drawers offered in the Euro-2500TX distribution network.
Note 3: If both external drawers are connected, the 'drawer eject' command opens the drawer assigned to the current cashier.
Modular jack 4/4 pressed directly onto the solenoid outlet is used to connect the drawers.
Note 4: The Euro-2500TX ECR allows easy connection for all EK-3000 keyboards or the standard PC keyboard.
Note 5: If the ECR needs to be certified, only certified keyboards with maximum cable length 2 metres can be used.
