4.5 Motor reinstallation

4.5 Motor reinstallation
1) Make sure that the ECR is turned off and the external power adapter is disconnected.
2) Remove the top ECR cover (chapter 4.3)
3) Release printer PCB cover (chapter 4.1) so you could disconnect the winding motor connector.
4) Release the left rim on the bottom ECR case, so you could loosen the wiring from the motor to the printer PCB. 4) Release the left rim on the bottom ECR case, so you could loosen the wiring from the motor to the printer PCB.
5) Release the outside screw located above the connector panel that holds the motor cover.
6) Release two additional screws that hold the motor cover.
7) Pull out the motor cover along with the winding motor and release the motor holders fixing screws.
8) Pull out the motor completely.
9) Re-solder the motor connector, if needed.
10) Place the new motor into the cover. Lightly tighten the screws only to catch the twine and hold.
11) Fix the motor together with its cover to the bottom ECR case using screws.
12) Plug the motor connector and place the motor wiring under the left rim.
13) Mount the printer PCB cover (chapter 4.1)
