Troubleshooting

Fault
The door does not open
The motor does not start
The motor starts
The door does not close
The operator has un-

Possible reasons why
Control switch is set to OFF
Mains are missing
Activation unit does not function
Presence detection is activated
KILL activated
Potentiometer SPTE not turned
to 0°
Mechanical lock is locked
Something jammed beneath the
door
Electric striking plate is binding
Arm system has come loose
Control switch is set to HOLD
Presence impulse is activated
Something jammed beneath the

Remedies/Explanations
Change the setting of the control switch
Check the mains switch
Strap impulse inputs
Check that there are no objects in the detec-
tion zone
Deactivate KILL
Turn SPTE to 0°
Unlock the lock
Remove object
Select lock release
Adjust striking
Turn potentiometer SPTE until the door-stop
hits the stop-block. Put the door in required
open position. Tighten the arm system. Turn
SPTE to 0°
Change the setting of the control switch
Remove objects in the detection zone
Remove object
a Turn up the potentiometer SPTE until it is
possible to loosen the door stop
b Remove the door stop and the arm system
c Unplug the mains and let spring close
d Unplug the motor plug
e Mount the drive arm from the arm system
and find the o-pre-tension by moving back
and forth

Loosen the arm
g Connect the motor plug
h Connect the mains

Turn the SPTE pot to 210° and wait until
the spindle stops turning
j
Mount the door stop against the closing
stop block
k Turn down SPTE to 0º - operator is now
factory set
