4.9 Power supply unit (car box)
The power supply unit (car box) is usually located in the car trunk below the grey
storage box, see pictures in chapter 4.8 "Storage box" on page 22. It is the central
wiring point connecting different components of the system. Most fuses are located
in the power supply unit (car box).
The system runs on 12 VDC. It is connected to the car battery and protected by a
40 A fuse, which is usually located near the car battery.
4.10 Calibration unit
The calibration unit is usually located in the car trunk, see pictures in chapter 4.8
"Storage box" on page 22. It is used to calibrate the measuring head quickly and
easily.
