Ä Activate the teach input (pin 5) by applying a signal (see figure below).
The width of the low level at the teach input is determined by the teach-in function.

Ä Ensure that the teach values are taken over correctly by checking the corresponding entries in the con-
figuration menu.

NOTICE
All sensors have a switching output Q1. Sensor models with an additional "6" in the part number
code have a second switching output Q2.

Configuring switching outputs

For each switching output you can configure the following parameters:
• Upper and lower switching point
• Hysteresis
• Switching behavior
