Fault
VENTIsupport cannot
establish connection with
therapy device.
Communication error
reported despite correct
connection to therapy
device.
The therapy device does
not contain any data.
VENTIsupport requires no maintenance.
Do not dispose of the appliance as domestic refuse.
To ensure proper disposal of the converter box and
data cables, consult an approved electronic scrap re-
covery firm.
You can find out their address from your environmental
officer or your municipal authorities.
Cause
No power supply to therapy device.
Trying to import data; the therapy appli-
ance is switched on.
Serial port incorrectly set.
No connection between therapy device
and PC.
Port being used by other applications.
The connection between appliance and
PC was interrupted during the data trans-
fer. However, the therapy appliance is
still sending data as a result of the last
data transfer
command.
The data in the therapy device was inad-
vertently deleted despite a warning mes-
sage from the VENTIsupport software.
Remedy
Use power cord to connect device
to a wall outlet.
Turn off the therapy device.
Set a free serial port by selecting
Serial port from the Settings menu.
Check connections of PC connection
cable at PC and converter box, and
of connection cable between ther-
apy device and converter box.
Exit these applications.
– Wait until data transfer is com-
pleted , then start it again.
or
– Stop data transfer by unplugging
the power plug of the therapy appli-
ance, then start data transfer again.
Error cannot be corrected. Record
the data again.
