3.2 Software installation

Note:
VENTIsupport is not designed for installation on network
drives. Install VENTIsupport on a local hard disk. Our hot-

1. Start MS Windows 2000/XP and exit all pro-
grams that are running before installing the
VENTIsupport Software.
If you are installing VENTIsupport Software on a
MS Windows 2000 or MS Windows XP operat-
ing system, make certain that you have administra-
tor rights.
2. Insert the CD ROM in the drive.
The installation will now be started automatically.
3. You will be guided in all additional installation
steps by the dialog window:
