4.4 Connecting therapy devices to the PC

You can print the Online Help for VENTIsupport and
VENTIadjust as follows:
1. On the
Contents
or VENTIadjust.
2. Click on the Print icon.
3. Select
Print the selected heading and all subtopics
from the
Print Topics
4. Click in the print dialog to start printing.

A serial interface is used to transfer stored data from
the therapy devices to the PC. The default setting in the
software provides for a COM2 connection.
Connecting the converter box to the PC
If the COM2 connection is not yet assigned on your
computer, please use it. If it is assigned, select another
COM connection that is free (see " Adjusting the COM
connection" on page 12).
1. Screw the connection for the converter box/PC
connection line onto the 9-pin socket
as on the converter box
