Exchanging fuses

Replace fuses only with same type and rating to ensure protection against fire risk.
1 Switch off and unplug the instrument.
2 Detach the fuse holder with a sharp tool, for example a screwdriver. The fuse holder is located on the rear
side of the MultiMACS Cell24 Separator above the power cable connector (refer to
3 Remove the defect fuse and insert a new fuse with the type and rating 5×20 mm, T3.15AH250V.
4 Reinsert the fuse holder.

Firmware version

Before contacting Miltenyi Biotec Technical Support, determine the version of the firmware on the MultiMACS
Cell24 Separator Plus.
1 Tap SET UP in the Start menu.
2 Tap PREFERENCES .

3 Scroll down to SHOW VERSION OF FIRMWARE .
4 Tap this button and the current version of the firmware is shown in the next screen.

Preparating for transport

Keep away from all moving parts!
Contact Miltenyi Biotec before shipping. The MultiMACS Cell24 Separator Plus has to be locked before shipping.
1 Tap SET UP in the Start menu.
2 Tap PREFERENCES .
