Tip-Touch

The Tip-Touch Plate is used for the removal of residual drops from the column tips. The plate can be moved
back and forth to deposit the last drop into the wells. This ensures reproducible recoveries and avoids cross-
contamination. The column tips must protrude 1 mm into the well.
1 MultiMACS Column Holder and MultiMACS Cell24 Magnet remain down for the Tip-Touch process.
2 When the instrument prompts you to perform a Tip-Touch, move the Tip-Touch Plate firmly back and forth
once. Droplets from the column tips fall into the plate.
Tip-Touch can be ignored if single-well deep well plates are used.
