    Antibodies and Cell Sorting Reagents are designed for easy and convenient handling with the MACSQuant Tyto Sorter. Cells that are sorted with the MACSQuant Tyto Sorter are ready for use in sensitive downstream applications such as cell culture, and cell expansion.

    The instrument offers fully automated flow control, laser alignment, and valve timing. The MACSQuant Tyto Sorter is a research-use only laboratory equipment and is sold to research laboratories worldwide. It is to be used by trained laboratory personnel only.

    If there is any damage, do not use the instrument but contact your local Miltenyi Biotec representative or Miltenyi Biotec Technical Support. Incorrect installation or the operation of a damaged instrument may lead to the exposure of mechanical hazards, optical radiation hazards, electric shock, the spread of fire, explosion, or biohazard.

    MACSQuant® Tyto® Sorter. 3 Lift the MACSQuant Tyto Sorter out of its box. CAUTION! Two people are required to lift the instrument. Take care to avoid personal strain or injury, especially avoid crushing fingers when you put the instrument down.

    In case of danger disconnect the device from the main supply. 4 Switch on the MACSQuant Tyto Sorter by using the power switch on the rear side of the instrument. The instrument will be in stand-by mode. A red LED on the orange touchscreen indicates that the instrument is in stand-by mode.

    Scan a MACSQuant® Tyto® Cartridge Use only MACSQuant® Tyto® Cartidges from Miltenyi Biotec. MACSQuant Tyto Cartridges are for single-use only. For proper disposal of MACSQuant Tyto Cartridges, follow local regulations and carefully read the chapter Important safety information . Note: Do not touch the chip on the cartridge.
