Buffer volumes

Apply the following buffer volumes according to the column type and workflow.

Large sample volumes

When exceeding a sample volume of 5 mL, load the sample in two steps onto the column. Two 44.0 mm deep
well plates are required for the collection of equilibration buffer, flow through, and wash. Alternatively, use a
88.0 mm deep well plate.

1 Apply the first 5 mL of the sample and let it run through.
2 Tap MOVE BACK .
3 Exchange the deep well plate after movement of the MultiMACS Cell24 Magnet.
4 Tap OK to proceed with sample loading.
Make sure that the column reservoir is empty before applying new buffer or samples.
