1-6-14. Pinch Roller/Cam (L)/Cam (M)/Cam (R)

When replacing the paper drive roller, platen roller, capstan roller or pinch roller, be careful not to touch it
with bare hands or dirty gloves.
When the roller is contaminated, clean it with ethyl alcohol.
1. Remove the cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-4.)
2. Remove the ribbon drive assembly. (Refer to Section 1-6-2.)
3. Remove the stepping motor. (Refer to Section 1-6-4.)
4. Remove the position motor. (Refer to Section 1-6-5.)
5. Remove the cutter unit. (Refer to Section 1-6-8.)
6. Remove the paper eject guide assembly. (Refer to Section 1-6-9.)
7. Remove the paper drive roller. (Refer to Section 1-6-10.)
8. Remove the snap ring, then remove the idler gear (P).
9. Remove the screw and four hooks, then remove the chassis inner cover (L) in the direction of the
arrow A.
10. Remove the screw and four hooks, then remove the chassis inner cover (R) in the direction of the
arrow B.
