Connect power and data

There are different versions of the termination box for the ColorSource Raceway: a hardwired
termination box, and termination boxes that support different varieties of connectors. Each version is
available in two different orientations: to mount to the left end or to the right end of the ColorSource
Raceway. Images in this section show a left-oriented model.

Hardwired version

1: Remove any bracket that is secured over the termination box, and then set aside the bracket and
hardware for re-installation when wiring is complete.
2: Remove the four screws that secure the termination box cover, and then remove the cover.

3: Identify the locations on the end of the termination box where the wiring will enter the box.
• If necessary, install a conduit adapter plate at the Power In location to accommodate your
conduit size (¾ in, 1 in, or 1¼ in).
• Use a flatblade screwdriver to knock out the appropriate opening for Data In. (If you will use
the ColorSource Raceway without data, do not knock out the opening for Data In.)
Connect power and data
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before you terminate the AC power wiring, verify
that the main breaker is in the off position and follow the proper
lockout/tagout procedures per NFPA Standard 70E. Follow all local codes for
installation.
