Assemble ETC aluminum batten

Note:
1: Take each batten segment out of the shipping container and lay it out straight on a flat surface.
2: Use two internal couplers to connect each segment, and secure the couplers with the provided
hardware (M6 TAPTITE
a: Insert an internal
coupler into one
batten segment, and
then fasten it loosely
with the provided
screws (see image at
right).
b: Repeat the process
with a second coupler
on the other side of
the same batten
segment.
c: Insert the other ends
of the internal
couplers into the
second batten
segment and then
secure both couplers
with the provided
screws (see image at
right).
d: Tighten the screws
from steps 2a and 2b
to secure the batten
segments.
3: If you are using the dual batten suspended mount, repeat steps 1 and 2 to assemble the second
batten.

If you need to adjust the batten length, use a saw to cut the batten. Make sure that
the cut is straight and perpendicular. ETC recommends a mitering chop saw with a
metal cutting blade for best results.
