Strip insulation from the hot, neutral, and ground wires coming from the conduit according to
the strip length information in the termination box.
5:
Connect the high voltage wiring to terminals 1–6 as labeled (blue terminals = neutral; gray
terminals = hot; green terminal = ground):
• For solid wire, Class B wire, or Class C wire (code wire): Strip wires, and then insert wires
directly into the terminals.
• For fine stranded wire (for example, SO multi-cable): Strip wires, and then use a small flat-
blade screwdriver to open the terminals and insert the wires.
For ColorSource Raceway installations with separate power for work lights, data, or both, follow
the same wiring instructions as above using the installed stacked terminals.
6:
Are you using DMX data or ethernet data?
• DMX (stranded wiring)—Follow the instructions provided with the DMX termination kit (part
number 7186K1003) to terminate the DMX wiring to the provided DMX header, and then
plug in the header to the DMX connector in the termination box. Continue to step 7.
• DMX (solid core/Cat5 wiring)—Follow the instructions provided with the IDC termination kit
(part number 4100A1013, not included with ColorSource Raceway) to terminate the DMX
wiring (Cat5 cable or better) to the provided DMX header, and then plug in the header to the
DMX connector in the termination box. Continue to step 7.
