DMX Active Pass-thru Connectors

Each DMX Active Pass-thru connector provides a single, optically isolated DMX universe. Each
ColorSource Raceway supports a maximum of 24 DMX Active Pass-thru connectors.
Each DMX Active Pass-thru connector supports a maximum of 32 connected RDM devices. The total
number of RDM devices in a DMX chain may be limited by the control device. See the specifications for
the DMX/RDM controller for additional information.

About the LED indicator

The LED indicator on the DMX Active Pass-thru connector provides information about the current state
of the DMX communication.
LED Blink Pattern
Solid
Slow blink
Double blink

Update firmware

You can update the DMX Active Pass-thru connectors over RDM. ETC recommends using UpdaterAtor
software to manage software updates. For more information on UpdaterAtor, see the
Software Quick Guide

DMX is absent.
Faceplate is awaiting firmware update. Once the firmware update begins, the LED
blinks each time a firmware packet is received. The LED returns to its normal
operating state when the firmware update is complete.
