System status

This page contains information on the Profibus interface of the device.
Displayed information:
• Status of the device ("Device Status"):
– Power supply and device OK ("POWER OK")
– Error detected ("ERROR")
• Status of the Profibus slave ("Slave / Bus State"):
– No data exchange with the control ("NO COMMUNICATION")
– Cyclical data exchange with the control ("DATA EXCHANGE")
If the device is in data exchange with the control, the following parameters set by the
control are also shown:
• "Datahold Time": The minimum time in ms for which the new output data must
remain on the bus before it is overwritten with new data by the ID 200.
• "Diagnose Interrupt" (enabled/disabled): Enable for ID 200/C-PDP to report
incorrect operating states to the control (e.g. connection to the antenna lost).
Option for setting the Profibus address: The current address of the Profibus slave is
shown here. The address can be changed in certain circumstances.
• Device is in data exchange (Data Exchange) with the control: no change
• Coding switch on the rear of the device in the positions 00..7D -> fixed set address
-> no change
• Coding switch in the positions 7E..FE: address can be changed, restart of the
Profibus with the changed address, after Power On, return to standard address
126 (7E)
• Coding switch in the position FF: Address can be changed, restart of the Profibus
with the changed address, changed address remains in place after Power On.
