Mobile data carriers MDT

Mobile data carriers MDT...L 125 kHz (inductive)
The MDTx/28-L supports 5 bytes fixed code, e.g. for workpiece carrier identification
via reference value.
The EEPROM memory of the MDTx/28-L supports a maximum of 100,000 write
cycles, which means this MDT is mainly suited to pure identification functions using
the fixed code. The "x" in the name stands for the housing shape (familiar from
ID15).
In the condition as supplied, the MDT../28-L must be initialized with the "Write
Fixcode" command before the fixed code is used for the first time.
Mobile data carriers MDT...H 13.56 MHz (inductive)
Data carriers in this frequency range store larger data quantities than data carriers of
the 125-kHz system.
The 13.56-MHz technology also permits so-called Smart Label designs (data carriers as
adhesive foil with printed optical barcode). The data carriers currently available have
a memory capacity of 8 bytes of unchangeable fixed code and 112 or 2,000 bytes of
freely programmable memory. Our 13.56 MHz MDTs have the name MDTx/y-H, where
the x stands for the housing shape and y stands for the memory size (112 or 2K).
