Remove and save the dust protection cap
Connect the motor connection cable to the motor
connection of the device
Connect the motor connection cable firmly to the
connection of the controller
If the cable connectors include mounting screws,
tighten them only lightly
Provide the motor connection with protection against
contact

5.4 Connecting a protective conductor
The device must have proper protective grounding.
Protective grounding, which, according to
EN 61800-5-1 must have the same cross
section as the supply wires of the motor, is
ensured via the motor cable. Due to local
regulations or application-specific standards,
there may be higher requirements for the
protective grounding.
If there are higher requirements for protective
grounding, you have to connect a separate
protective conductor.
Check whether the protective grounding in the motor
connection (pin 4) is sufficient
If the protective grounding in the motor connection
is not sufficient, connect a protective conductor to
