Before driving

CHECKLIST: Checks before on-road driving

This checklist is not a complete operating manual. There are accompanying
instructions, which are indicated by cross-references.
Observe the warnings and safety instructions there!
1. If the boom is on the boom rest
– All telescopic sections are interlocked; the telescoping cylinder is
locked with telescopic section I .
– The slewing gear is switched off;
2. The symbol goes out (if present);
3. When the main boom is resting on a dolly
– All telescopic sections must be locked together.
– The slewing gear is switched off;
– The boom floating position is switched on;
– The slewing gear freewheel must be switched on;
– The boom pre-tensioning may be switched on;
– The houselock may be switched off;
– The superstructure is unlocked;
