Aligning the connecting points
Risk of damage to the turntable and the connection lines
Make sure that the connection lines are located within the turntable and
that the main boom does not swing when you raise it for insertion into the
turntable.
•
Lift the main boom backwards and down-
wards on to the turntable. Make sure that:
– The connection lines (3) do not hang
loose,
– The pivot point (1) is higher than the
driver's cab,
– The pivot point (1) is located forwards of
the derricking cylinder (2),
– The connecting points are not tilted.
Aligning the connecting points
•
Lay the hoses into the turntable in such as
way that they are not damaged during
alignment.
•
Align the main boom so that the boom pivot
pin is aligned with the bearing points (1) in
the turntable.
•
Hold the main boom in this position until the
pivot pin is pushed in.
