Replacing the USB License Dongle
The USB license dongle tells the Adept ACE software what licenses have been purchased. The
available licenses are covered in
In the event that you purchase additional licenses after you have received your Adept
SmartVision EX unit, you will need to replace your existing dongle with a new one. The
instructions for replacing the dongle follow:
1. Remove the top cover of the Adept SmartVision EX.
2. Remove the existing dongle.
3. Plug in the new USB Dongle and secure as shown.
4. Reinstall the top cover of the Adept SmartVision EX.
