2-1-2. 3Pt Angle
The other function in Inverse is "3Pt Angle" which
calculates the angle between two lines defined by
three points.
P1 is the base point. Two lines are to be defined by
P2 and P3, both from P1.
Type the point number/name or take a measurement
to the points using the [MSR] softkey.
Input the second point (P2) to define the baseline by
P1-P2, from which the angle (dHA) will be counted.
Input the third point (P3) to define the second line
(P1-P3).
• When the [MSR] softkey is pressed, a temporary measuring screen is displayed.
Sight the target and press [MSR1] or [MSR2] key to take a measurement.
• After the measurement, a recording point screen
will come up. Input PT/HT/CD and press [ENT] to
store the point on the spot. Press [ESC] from the
recording PT screen to use the point without
recording it.
