1.26.3 Call Billing for Guest Room

Description
Separately from SMDR, it is possible to output a record of all calls made from a guest room, with charges,
when the guest is checked out, to use in billing the guest. Other charge items, including room minibar
charges, a preset margin, and tax can also be added to the bill.
If guests are given extension personal identification numbers (PINs), it is possible for a guest to charge calls
made from other extensions to his or her own room extension using the Walking COS feature (→ 1.8.5
Walking COS). This allows a guest to make a call from another extension, for example an extension in the
hotel restaurant, and have the calls charged to his own room.
It is possible to print out a bill for a guest. The bill will show the following items:
programmable title (e.g., hotel name)
check-in time
check-out time (If the guest has already been checked out, the check-out time will be shown. If not, the
time that the bill was printed will be shown.)
extension number
extension name
a list of all calls made and other charges (using the same format as SMDR output Pattern B (→ 1.25.1
Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR)))
total charge
sheet number (the number of times that the current guest's charge data has been printed out and then
cleared)
programmable footer (e.g., personal message from hotel)
It is possible to select the language used on the guest bill.
