7.1.3 Ford Transit (part no. 74914 TL)
FWD
1 Dismantle the spare wheel and as-
sociated mounts and any ladder, as
well as the towing hook. The spare
wheel is then placed in the vehicle
body.
NOTE.
There is no space for the spare
wheel under the vehicle after
installation of the lift.
2 Dismantle the mounting brackets
holding the bumper.
3 Cut the exhaust pipe as close to the
exhaust mounting as possible. See
Fig 16.
4 Cut the towing eyelet as close to the
mount as possible. See Fig 17.
5 Cut the left mounting bracket for the
bumper by approx. 200 mm. See
Fig 18.
6 Check that the supplied spacer
tubes fit in the frame. If necessary,
drill the holes to Ø 20.5 so that the
spacers can be installed. Apply
rustproofing agent.
