7.9.2 Installation of main fuse on vehicles with M8 connection point (+)
When installing the main power cable, the fuse, 150A (24V) or 250 (12V), must be installed on the vehicle's con-
nection point (+). This is to protect the electrical system from damage and risk of fire in the event of a short circuit.
1. Place the fuse on the connection point and connect the main power cable, see Fig 47.
The following image showing the connection point is an example and may vary from vehicle to vehicle.
2. Secure the fuse and main power cable with the knob.
WARNING!
The knob must lie against and centre the cable clip so that it does not come into contact with the bolt.
Incorrect installation can cause the fuse to malfunction. Risk of fire in the event of a short circuit, see Fig
48 and Fig 49.
