 OPERATING THE VEHICLE
IMPORTANT :
• If the vehicle is operated with the parking brake
applied, the brake will be damaged.
1. Stop the vehicle on a level surface.
2. To set the parking brake, depress the brake pedal
and pull the parking brake lever to park.
3. To release the parking brake, push the release
button and push down the parking brake lever.
When the parking brake is released, the brake
indicator light in the Easy Checker
(1) Parking brake lever
(2) Release button

ACCESSORY

1. 12 V electric outlet
The 12 volt outlet is located on the front-panel. An
auxiliary light or other devices may be connected to this
connector.
• This outlet is activated when the key switch is in
either the "ON" or "OFF" position.
When the plug is not used, pull it out. Be careful
that leaving the plug inserted causes the battery to
run out.
• Do not connect a light or other device that draws
more than 120 watts to this connector, or the
battery may discharge very rapidly or the outlet may
fail.
IMPORTANT :
• Do not use as a cigarette lighter.
• Do not use when wet.

OPERATING TECHNIQUES

1. Differential lock

WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death due to loss of
steering control:
• Do not operate the vehicle at high speed with
differential lock engaged.
• Do not attempt to turn with the differential lock
engaged.
• Be sure to release the differential lock before
making a turn in field conditions.
If one of the rear wheels should slip, shift the differential
lock lever to the "ENGAGE" position. Both wheels will
then turn together, reducing slippage.
Differential lock is maintained while shifting the
differential lock lever to the "ENGAGE" position.

IMPORTANT :
• When using the differential lock, always slow
the engine down.
• To prevent damage to power train, do not
engage differential lock when one wheel is
spinning and the other is completely stopped.
