Steering Wheel

Removal (Fig. 14)
1. Carefully remove steering wheel cover from steering
wheel.
2. Remove hex nut and lock washer that secure steer-
ing wheel to steering control valve.
3. Pull steering wheel from control valve.
Installation (Fig. 14)
1. Apply anti–seize lubricant to shaft of control valve.
2. Slide steering wheel onto control valve shaft.
3. Secure steering wheel with lock washer and hex nut.
Torque hex nut from 20 to 26 ft–lb (28 to 35 N–m).
4. Install steering wheel cover.
