Installing the Steering
Wheel
TC and H Models Only
Parts needed for this procedure:

Steering wheel

Cover
1
Washer (5/8 inch)
Procedure
1.
If the cover is installed, remove it from the hub
of the steering wheel
2.
Remove the nut from the steering shaft

Slide the steering wheel and washer onto the
steering shaft

Secure the steering wheel to the shaft with the
nut and tighten it to 27 to 34 N∙m (20 to 25 ft-lb).

Install the cover on the steering wheel

Connecting the Battery

TC and H Models Only
No Parts Required
Procedure
WARNING
Incorrectly routing the battery cable could
damage the machine and cables, causing
sparks. Sparks can cause the battery gasses
to explode, resulting in personal injury.
• Always disconnect the negative battery
cable (black) before disconnecting the
(Figure
positive battery cable (red).
• Always connect the positive battery cable
(red) first.

Squeeze the battery cover to release the tabs
from the battery base

Remove the battery cover from the battery base

Connect the positive battery cable (red) to the
positive (+) terminal of the battery and secure
the cable with the bolts and nuts
