4.4 Settings

Configuration is only possible in mains
operation or in the event of a battery fault.
No backwater may occur during configu-
ration.
The control unit makes two different con-
figurations possible for system operation.
When there is a corresponding water level
Running time mode (default setting)
in the pipe, the optical probe responds and
switches the pump on after a switch-on
delay. The pump runs for the time set.
When the level drops below the probe
level, the pump remains switched off. If
there is still a level message pending after
the running time has expired, the pump is
started again for the duration of the run-
ning time after a start-up delay.
When there is a corresponding water level
Run-on control
in the pipe, the optical probe responds and
switches the pump on after a switch-on
delay. When the pump runs, the water
level drops. The pump runs until the probe
indicates that the level has dropped to
below the switching level and the run-on
time has expired.

• Run-on time or running time
When the keys "Alarm" and "Pump" are
pressed for 5 seconds, the mode for con-
figuring run-on time or run time is rea-
ched. A signal is sounded and the
"Power" LED lights up. After both keys
have been released, the current setting
is shown on the basis of flashing LEDs.
The stage can be adjusted by pressing
the "Alarm" key. Every time the key is
pressed, the unit moves by on one stage
(see table). One or two flashing LEDs in-
dicate the stage set. The changed set-
ting is saved by pressing the "Pump" key;
this is accompanied by acoustic ackno-
wledgement in the form of a two-stage

keys again briefly to reach configuration
mode for switch-on delay. A second

"Power" and "Alarm" LEDs light up. After
both keys have been released, the cur-
rent setting is shown on the basis of flas-
hing LEDs.

"Alarm" key. Every time the key is pres-

the current setting is shown on the basis
