The KESSEL control unit detects faults during power up and during operation, allowing them to be remedied easily.

5. Fault detection Standard control unit
Remove the mains plug, connect

if necessary
When the unit is ready to function,
a running light appears on the dis-
play again.
Remove the mains plug, disconnect
the battery; check the control cable
for correct connection or passage,
replace pump if necessary.
Remove the mains plug, deactivate
the battery; check the control cable
for correct connection or passage,
replace probe if necessary.
Check mains voltage and set up
again if necessary
Clean the probe or pump.
Acknowledge acoustic signal by
pressing the alarm key.
Replace the control unit

Notes
Initialisation: The system can be put
into operation, i.e. it is functional.
Alarm can be acknowledged.
Operation: The fault message ap-
pears after a maximum of 5 minutes.
The system is ready for operation,
manual mode is possible.
Fault detection only takes place du-
ring operation
